“We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.”
Eco Sprouts is our program that connects the youth with fulfilling environmental activities that are fun, educational, and inspirational to a generation of environmental stewards.
We work with community groups, schools, and other nonprofits to connect the youth with our mission driven activities that teach by illustration.
We incorporate lessons about microplastics and marine biology in litter cleanups and turn habitat restorations into field experiments where every plant is turned into a lesson.
Let’s inspire them today for they shall lead us tomorrow.
It is important for children and young adults to become environmental volunteers because they have the potential to make a significant impact for the environment through the course of their actions.
Environmental volunteerism can help to raise awareness about environmental issues and encourage others to take action to protect our natural world. It can also provide an opportunity for children and young adults to learn about the environment and develop a sense of responsibility and ownership for the natural world.
In addition, environmental volunteering can help to build important skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. It can also be a fun and rewarding way for children and young adults to spend their time and can lead to a lifelong commitment to environmental conservation.
Overall, it is a valuable way for children and young adults to make a positive difference in the world and to develop important skills and knowledge that will benefit them throughout their lives.
