Our hardworking volunteers dedicated their time to make Santee, CA a cleaner, greener place. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all those who participated and made a difference in the community today. Thanks to your efforts we’ve removed 68 pounds of litter from the Riverford Rd. Highway.

The event started off on a positive note, with volunteers enthusiastically picking up litter and working together to beautify our surroundings. It was inspiring to witness the collective effort of individuals passionate about preserving our environment.

As the cleanup reached its conclusion, an unexpected turn of events took place. A U-Haul veered off the road, adding a dose of urgency and unpredictability to the day. However, the true spirit of community emerged, and the same volunteers who had been diligently cleaning up the litter swiftly transitioned into a support system for those involved in the incident.

Thankfully, no one was hurt in the U-Haul mishap, thanks in part to the quick response and assistance provided by the Ecological Servants Project volunteers.
