Program
Cigarette Litter Prevention Program
Help remove cigarette litter from our communities, recycle collected butts through TerraCycle, and support long-term prevention through education and outreach.
Support Cigarette Litter Prevention
Cigarette butts are one of the most common forms of litter worldwide. They contain microplastics and chemicals that can leach into soil and waterways. This program exists to reduce cigarette litter through cleanup, education, and responsible disposal.
EcoServants works with volunteers to collect cigarette waste in public spaces, then routes collected butts into recycling through TerraCycle when possible. We also support prevention through outreach and community engagement so fewer butts end up in the environment.
