Kenya, like many other regions in Africa, faces a growing number of ecological challenges that threaten both the environment and the livelihoods of its people. Among the hardest-hit areas is Isiolo, a semi-arid region where communities are struggling with the effects of climate change, water scarcity, and land degradation.
For the people of Isiolo, access to clean water is an ever-present challenge. With increasingly erratic rainfall patterns and prolonged droughts, many communities are left without reliable sources of water for drinking, agriculture, and daily living. The region’s dependence on rain-fed agriculture makes it particularly vulnerable to climate variability, leading to food insecurity and economic instability. As water sources dry up, the competition for resources intensifies, exacerbating conflicts over land and contributing to the displacement of families.

The situation in Isiolo is a stark reminder that the effects of climate change are not just about rising temperatures and melting ice caps; they are about human lives and the daily struggles faced by those on the frontlines of environmental change.
At the Ecological Servants Project, we believe that access to clean water is a fundamental human right and a key component of building resilient communities. That’s why we are launching a fundraising campaign to provide atmospheric water generators (AWGs) to the people of Isiolo. These innovative devices can harvest water from the air, providing a sustainable source of clean water even in the driest conditions. By delivering AWGs to Isiolo, we aim to alleviate the burden of water scarcity and empower communities to rebuild their lives.

But we can’t do this alone. We need your help. Your contributions will go directly toward the purchase and deployment of atmospheric water generators in Isiolo, helping to secure a brighter, more sustainable future for the region’s people. Together, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Join us in our mission to bring hope and sustainability to Isiolo.
