Yesterday, under the dedicated leadership of Krista Hatton, three incredible volunteers took to the roadside in Lakeside, CA, for a cleanup effort that made a real impact. Armed with gloves, trash bags, and a commitment to keeping our community beautiful, they tackled the litter along our designated highway site, gathering an impressive 65 pounds of roadside trash, glass, and debris.
Not only did the team show outstanding dedication, but they also had a special helper—a four-legged volunteer sporting an Adopt-A-Highway vest! Their hard work serves as a reminder of how small actions can lead to big improvements in our shared spaces.
A huge thank you to these volunteers for their time and energy! Your efforts are appreciated and make a visible difference.
