As the year comes to a close and we enter the holiday season, we want to take a moment to pause, reflect and most importantly give thanks.
Holiday Notice: Intern meetings resume on December 27th, 2025.
We celebrate what has been accomplished and the people who made it possible, whose dedication and curiosity fuel everything we do.
EcoServants exists because of people who choose to serve. Over the past year, hundreds of interns from around the world have contributed their time, skills and passion to support environmental restoration, education, research, technology and community resilience. Your work has helped move our mission forward in ways that are tangible, measurable and deeply meaningful.
While the work of our interns spans many disciplines, it is unified by intention. Interns across our programs have contributed to environmental cleanups, invasive species research, grant writing, nonprofit management, data analysis, technology development, content creation, creative writing, marketing, community engagement and more. Many of you balanced coursework, jobs and personal responsibilities while still showing up consistently with professionalism, integrity and purpose. That commitment does not go unnoticed.
Learning Through Service
At EcoServants, internships are not designed as busywork. They are designed as real-world service opportunities that support a living nonprofit ecosystem. This year, interns helped research and document invasive plant species, develop and test software tools, analyze data to improve organizational decision-making, write grant proposals, build websites, manage communications, support volunteers and help shape long-term strategies.
These contributions directly support environmental stewardship, public education and nonprofit sustainability. They also reflect the core values we strive to uphold: responsibility, collaboration, humility and service.
A Global Community of Interns
One of the most powerful aspects of EcoServants is the diversity of our intern community. Interns joined us from different countries, academic backgrounds and disciplines, yet worked together toward shared goals. This collaboration across time zones, cultures and skill sets strengthens our organization and reminds us that environmental care is a shared global responsibility.
Whether your role was technical, creative, analytical or organizational, your effort mattered.
With Sincere Thanks
No contribution within EcoServants exists in isolation. Each effort plays a role in building a resilient, service-driven organization. The collective work of our interns this year reflects care, responsibility and a willingness to show up consistently and thoughtfully.
We want to formally thank every intern who contributed to EcoServants® this year. The names below represent hours of learning, service and dedication. Each name reflects an individual who chose to give time to something larger than themselves.
