In a world brimming with ecological crisis, spiritual disconnection, and moral apathy, the path of an EcoServant emerges as a sacred calling—an invitation to live in alignment with both God’s will and Creation’s design. To become an EcoServant is not just to volunteer or clean up our environment—it is to answer a divine mandate, one rooted in Scripture and woven into the very identity of humanity. As caretakers of Earth, we are summoned to take part in God’s ongoing act of creation by preserving, protecting, and nurturing what He has made.
God’s First Command: Stewardship of Creation
The Bible does not begin with a sermon or a parable, but with a garden—a perfect world entrusted to humankind.
“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.”
— Genesis 2:15 (NIV)
From the very beginning, God made clear that humanity’s role was not one of domination, but of stewardship. This stewardship—known today as Creation Care—is not optional. It is a foundational purpose given to all of us. Sadly, this command has been neglected and forgotten by many, replaced with greed, waste, and exploitation.
To be an EcoServant is to remember Eden, to reclaim that original task, and to live as a guardian of God’s Earth in a time when it desperately needs healing.
EcoStewardship Is Worship
To treat God’s creation with reverence is a form of worship, a sacred expression of our love for the Creator. The beauty of a blooming flower, the complexity of a coral reef, the delicate balance of ecosystems—all these speak of His glory.
“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made…”
— Romans 1:20 (NIV)
When we pollute, destroy, or ignore Creation, we ignore the fingerprints of God. When we protect, restore, and honor it, we magnify Him. The path of an EcoServant is a path of praise—an act of homage to the one who made the heavens and the Earth.
The Hidden Manna: Rediscovering Biblical Truth
At EcoServants, we understand that true stewardship must be rooted in spiritual insight, not just activism. That’s why we offer a weekly Bible Study, led by Pastor Joslyn, founder of the Congregation of Eden. This is not your ordinary study. It is a dive into the hidden manna of Scripture—the deep truths long buried by tradition, complacency, or misunderstanding.
“To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna…”
— Revelation 2:17 (NIV)
These gatherings explore the spiritual blueprint for humanity’s relationship with the Earth, revealing how prophecy, covenant, and creation all interconnect. Pastor Joslyn draws from a rich well of revelation, guiding attendees through profound layers of biblical wisdom and calling them back to God’s original vision for life on Earth.
All are welcome to join this nondenominational study, regardless of background. Come with questions. Come with faith. Come ready to be transformed.

Why the Earth Groans
Creation itself longs for redemption—just as we do.
“For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed… We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.”
— Romans 8:19, 22 (NIV)
The Earth groans under the weight of pollution, climate imbalance, and extinction. But it waits for the children of God—those who know their identity and mission—to rise up and restore it.
To be an EcoServant is to be that answer. It is to stand in the gap, to weep when the rivers are poisoned, to rejoice when life returns to barren soil, and to carry the Spirit of Eden into a world of exile.
A Call to Action
You don’t have to be a scientist, theologian, or environmentalist to begin walking the EcoServant path. You simply need to say “yes” to your divine commission:
- Clean your local environment
- Reduce waste and live more sustainably
- Educate others about their role in God’s Creation
- Join a Bible study and deepen your spiritual roots
- Live every day as though the Earth is sacred—because it is
This is your invitation. Not from a nonprofit or a pastor—but from God Himself.
“The Earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.”
— Psalm 24:1 (NIV)
To care for it is to live in the fullness of your design.
Final Words
Being an EcoServant is more than a mission. It is a lifestyle of reverence, humility, and purpose. It is what it means to be truly human, made in the image of a Creator who called it all “very good.”
Let us rise to the occasion. Let us be a generation of stewards, not exploiters—gardeners of grace, not consumers of convenience. In every act of care, we reflect His image. In every restoration, we fulfill our calling.
Join us. Study with us. Serve with us.
Together, let us walk the path of the EcoServant—and lead the world back to Eden.
